Risk Coordinator for Public Transport in Stockholm

We are now looking for a risk coordinator with a background as a project engineer who wants to work with project and operational risks, thereby contributing to the development of future public transport and moving Stockholm forward!

About the Role

In your current role as a project engineer, you have experience working with risks.

You need to have a strong interest in working with project and operational risks, and there is a great opportunity to grow and develop in the role.

As the role is new within the department, you will participate in developing work methods and adapting existing routines and templates. We believe that you are motivated to collaborate with others to see what is required for successful risk management.

Some examples of tasks:

• Support project managers in their work with risks and risk measures. If you are experienced in the risk area, you should be able to lead the project's risk work.
• Support section management in identifying operational risks and risk measures.
• Based on previous experience and abilities in the risk area, participate in planning and conducting reviews of suppliers' and contractors' risk management.
• Deliver with our values (Openness, Reliability, Collaboration, and Competence) in focus.

To thrive and succeed in the role, you need:

To succeed as a risk coordinator, qualities such as holistic thinking, structure, systematics, and a high degree of integrity are required. The ability to collaborate is crucial, which means you should enjoy building relationships. You can express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish and are a skilled communicator. This means you should be able to listen attentively, communicate clearly, and adapt your communication to the recipient's conditions and needs to ensure that the message is conveyed effectively.

Requirements:

• Several years of experience as a Project Engineer in infrastructure, construction & civil engineering, or BEST.
• Experience and interest in working with both project and operational risks.
• Knowledge of projects as a working method.
• Knowledge of industry laws, requirements, and guidelines.

It is advantageous if you have:

• A university degree in a relevant field.
• Training in project management.
• One or more years of experience in risk work and risk coordination within infrastructure, construction and civil engineering, vehicles, or BEST (track, electrical, systems, telecommunications).
• Experience in risk work within public operations.
